During the 2020 COVID pandemic i stared to realize that because of the decreasing physical contact, more and more we are drawn to the internet. This together with my (still) growing fascination for Youtube was the initiation for McCoy TV. I came up with the plan and sat down with one of the partners of the company. Then i pitched the idea.
While McCoy was already producing a lot of blogs, there was still a gap in content. And next to that, in 2020 who reads blogs? 👴🏻. There was a new way for McCoy to share it’s knowledge on SAP and all of their products, and it was video. In a more visual, value and entertaining way.

Together with a team of consultants we started in 2021 with an idea and a single tryout. While all consutants were also working fulltime other projects. We organized the scripting, filming and editing all by ourself. The first year we’ve produced over 40 video’s, that’s something i would have never thought possible over a year ago.
This was all possible because of the stamina we showed as a team. We set our goal to just produce video’s for 1 year straight, and look what that has brought us!
Also its great to see that the team got the recognition it deserved. From both inside and outside the company. As well as new recruits and even prospects jumping on us because of a video!

Right now were producing 1 video every week together with our own consultants as experts and a video production company. We needed to move from mostly inhouse production to outside resources. Also we’ve invested in a separate studio inside the building! Right now next to our regular video uploads we are also upgrading our webinairs, customer interviews and other content. Curious? Go and take a look!
